Other than the base attributes and skills, there are several other bonuses that equipment can provide.

Drain soulEdit

SE can be drained during battle, and this amount is proportional to the amount of damage inflicted. No more than 1/5th of the SE you started before the battle can be drained.

Drain soul protectionEdit

Certain items provide protection from drain soul, namely the friendship crystal, various boots and other items bought for soul diamonds.

Critical hitEdit

Similar to the critical hit skill, this value simply adds to your chance. Often given by weapons that give large bonuses to attack and strength, it is also found in relics and focus crystals.

Critical magic damageEdit

Similar to the critical spell skill, this value simply adds to your chance. Often given by weapons that give large bonuses to IQ, thaumaturgy and magic, but also found in relics and some focus crystals.

AbsorptionEdit

This skill simply decreases the amount of physical damage you take from the weapons of your opponent, but also works spearately on the damage received by an opponents pet. Found on nearly all armours and protective gear, it is also provided by pets, giving a valuable defense in battle. If a player lands a hit and the absorption stat is greater than their base damage, the received damage will always be 1.

Absorption skill = 100, player deals 300 damage, their pets deal 80 damage, you will receive 200 damage from the weapon and 1 damage from their pets (absorption never reduces the damage to 0). If the player has secondary hit 10, 20 base damage will be inflicted on the receivers pets (this can be reduced with hard skin)

Magic absorptionEdit

Works similar to absorption, but decreases the amount of magical damage received from the spells of an opponent. Equipment often gives more magic absorption than absorption, due to it's action in only the spell round.

Magic absorption stat = 300, a player casts a spell with 800 base damage, 500 damage is dealt. If the player has secondary spell 10, 50 base damage will be inflicted on the receivers pets (this can be reduced with hard skin)
