Because pets don't like to be enslaved and sat around doing nothing, their morale decreases over time. There are various ways to boost morale (heal wounds, win a battle, challenging etc.) but charisma is the only way to slow it's decrease. The higher your skill level, the slower the morale of all your pets wil decrease.
Each hour, the morale of your pet decreases by (pet level + 20 - charisma) / 24
- So a level 40 pet and 10 charisma, the morale will decrease by 2.1 per hour
- This makes it possible for your pets morale to increase per hour, if your charisma is high enough.
